Required Equipment

All players MUST provide their own:

• batting helmet with two padded ear flaps (one each side) 
  • safety cage / face guard strongly recommended for safety
  • chin strap strongly recommended to keep helmet in place
  • helmet MUST be in good condition. Cracked or damaged helmets are NOT permitted.
• baseball glove
• closed-toed footwear
  • cleats optional (if worn, cleats MUST be rubber - NO metal!)
  • sandals, flip flops or other open-toed footwear are NOT permitted.

Players may choose to bring their own bat(s) and/or batting glove(s) if desired. Bats must meet the requirements of Softball Canada for fast-pitch softball [Male (up to U20) and Female (all levels)] and be certified with one or more of the following markers:

• ISF2005
• WBSC (New)
• ASA2000
• ASA2004
• USA Softball (New)

The league will provide to each player:

•  team shirt

The league will provide to each team:

• catcher’s equipment:
  • padding
  • shin guards
  • helmet with full face mask and throat guard
• bats
• balls
