For the safety of the children, the JLMSA requires all coaches to complete a Police Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Form for Volunteers). This is a small cost of money and time to assist us in keeping our children safe. This is an annual process that even returning coaches are to complete. We are a small community that most of us know each other, but it is due diligence by the JLMSA that is expected by everyone to keep our kids safe.
Step #2 - once selected/confirmed as a coach (or assistant coach):
Fill out the Police Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Form for Volunteers)
Bring the Police Criminal record Check along with two pieces of photo identification to your local Police Station.
Cost is $15.00 (cash only) They do not accept cheques, debit or credit cards)
Once notified by the NRPS (Niagara Regional Police Services) you can pick up your completed Police Check. You must bring two pieces of photo identification.
